MuscleSquad 5kg – 32.5kg Adjustable Dumbbell Performance

This set gives you 12 resistance settings across a wide weight range – in 2.5kg increments. Unlike traditional, spin-lock adjustable dumbbell designs, the MuscleSquad models require no dismantling. Simply place each dumbbell on the included dock, turn the dial to your desired weight and start lifting.

The handles are soft and textured for a secure, comfortable grip. The gripping mechanism works smoothly and securely, too. Unlike some, I experienced no clinking or movements with these weights. Throughout the entire resistance range, the plates stayed in position, giving me confidence to try a wide range of dumbbell exercises.

Should you buy the MuscleSquad 5kg – 32.5kg Adjustable Dumbbell?

The kit is surprisingly compact with a small footprint, too. When in the tray, the set measures 8.3in (H) x 16.5in (W) x 7.9in (D) / 210mm (H) x 420mm (W) x 200mm (D) – ideal for storing in a bedroom or small gym.

It may seem expensive, but when you consider this set effectively gives you 12 dumbbells in one, and covers a 27.5kg resistance range, it starts to look much better value for money. This, plus the easy-to-use mechanism, makes it an ideal option for beginners who are getting to grips with how to use adjustable dumbbells.
